Blood in the human body has two major elements – red blood cells and white blood cells. The red blood cells take oxygen from the lungs all the way to each and every tissue in the body including all the organs and body parts of the body. In addition to this, they also carry the much needed nutrients, electrolytes, hormones and they carry bask the waste that gets generated. The white blood cells, on the other hand, are the body’s protective agents which ensure that outside substances that include viruses, bacteria and other harmful outside bodies don’t enter the body. An extra function of theirs is to prevent blood loss through their ability to clot blood.
If the system of blood in the body were to malfunction for whatever reason, certain results are brain hemorrhage and almost certain death. In order to prevent such a situation, one must see to it their blood is always healthy and in the best shape that it can be. The easiest way to do this is to eat healthy food, drink clean water and make sure the air that goes in your body is clean. As difficult as that may be in today’s world, there are ways to get it done well.
Anemia is majorly caused by a deficiency in Vitamin B12 and is also equally caused by less hemoglobin in the red blood cells which is one of its major components. Anemia is usually noticed by the following symptoms:
- A very strong dizzy feeling
- A headache
- An irregular heartbeat
- A serious appetite loss
- Backache
- A extreme sensation of cold weather
- Depression
- A pale look on the face
- Memory loss and bad memory
- A tendency to faint easily
- A weak body
- Heavy constipation
If the case is extreme then it is usually a lot of loss of blood from the body as a result of which the patient undergoes shock. In addition to this, in case the person is suffering from pernicious anemia, they also usually experience weakness, a very sore mouth, vomiting, nausea, a bad stomach and very often total or partial numbness in the affected parts of the body.
The main cause of anemia is a bad diet which doesn’t give the body (and the blood) enough nutrition as one must give it. This means that the food that one eats does not have enough of the nutrients that the blood needs to be healthy. That includes vitamins, proteins and minerals. Sometimes anemia also occurs when there is excessive bleeding that is chronic. Other causes for the disease include an error that could have occurred in blood transfusion, a health disorder that lies in the genes (either from both parents or either parent), an auto immune disorder – even kidney disease could be a problem.
The issue with the healing one’s body of anemia usually starts with feeding of nutrients that are deficient in the body. The best means of this is through food and in some cases, the case is such that the body is unable to absorb these nutrients.
