Blood in the human body has two major elements – red blood cells and white blood cells. The red blood cells take oxygen from the lungs all the way to each and every tissue in the body including all the organs and body parts of the body. In addition to this, they also carry the much needed nutrients, electrolytes, hormones and they carry bask the waste that gets generated. The white blood cells, on the other hand, are the body’s protective agents which ensure that outside substances that include viruses, bacteria and other harmful outside bodies don’t enter the body.
