  • Obesity can be the reason for many diseases as it increases cholesterol and other chemicals in the body.

  • It make the body unfit for many regular activities. The person gets tired more easily especially in physical activities.

  • It makes the person more lazy and lethargic in nature.

  • It makes the body out of shape and so there is decline in beauty.

  • People feel insecure as they are deprived of eating many things like fatty foods.

  • People also feel bad about the fun made by other people around.

The reasons for fear can be many but running from them is not the solution. There is a need to face it genuinely and faithfully. Health is wealth and one needs to think about it.

First of all habits are the most important thin. One needs to plan his habits according to a lot of things like:

  • Body structure

  • Climate

  • Earning and expenditure capacity

  • Internal strength and immunity

No need to be afraid of obesity. There is absolutely no need to run away from it. Now some of the simple steps, which will be helpful in making proper body fitness, are as follows:

  • Eat the food at regular intervals and do not skip or over eat. Eat a balanced diet containing the necessary minerals, vitamins, fats, carbohydrates, proteins

  • Proper sleeping habits are to be maintained. Stress due to many reasons such as personal conflicts, office pressure often result in reduced sleep, which is highly injurious to health. A sound and proper sleep is very much required.

  • There need to be a balance between eating and working. Eat as per your requirement. Requirement varies with individual needs. Children and pregnant ladies need to have more calorie and care. Physical works need more carbohydrates. Growing children can have more proteins.

  • The body needs lot of water to stay fresh and healthy. So it’s advisable to drink water regularly.

  • Smoking and drinking excessively is also very bad for long run not only for individual but also for his family.

  • Cycling, Swimming and walking in the morning and evening is too good for health. It keeps one fit and fine. Care must be taken that there is some time gap between food intake and exercise.

  • Those who are too fat can start with skipping, running, jumping and playing games like tennis, volleyball and basketball.

  • Gym can be joined by those who can have good diet balance too.

  • Aerobic exercises are also good option. One can see and follow on television or can join any classes.

The above-mentioned steps are simple and easy to follow and will be really beneficial not only for obese people but also normal persons.

Now the stress in the article is about meditation. Meditation is a good means to attain peace and concentration. It’s a step towards understanding not only others but oneself too. It needs lot of dedication and devotion but the results are so huge and satisfying that it is advisable to all. It gives peace to mind and soul, which is true aim of life. Meditation helps in a lot of things among which healthy body is also one objective. It can help in maintaining a fit body thereby reducing obesity.

Yoga is advisable to carry out in the early morning or in the evening. To start it, carry out very simple exercises. One of the exercises is to sit down properly in a relax position with legs upon each other and breathe with deep inhale and exhale. This exercise is simply awesome and one who will do it will get to know the reality.

Close your eyes and breathe with erect posture and just concentrate. Inhale and exhale say for 15 minutes. This has lot of effects. This reduces stress and anxiety and help in relaxing mind. It helps in expansion of diaphagram that means more energy with less effort. It is also helpful in proper digestive system thereby reducing obesity.

There are many other asanas, which are also to be practiced in later stages for which many instructors are available. Health is very important tool of happiness. So its advisable not to ignore health problems and take proper steps to stay healthy and fit.

  1. the best solution for obesity is none other than Exercise and Proper diet. i would try to avoid slimming pills or fat burning food supplements

  2. i was obese a few years ago but now i have reduced my weight by diet and exercise.

    Obesity and diabetes is a growing problems nowadays. It is caused by todays lifestyle which does not involve lots amount of exercise. Most people are just happy sitting in their office chair and they do not even want to sweat.
