The recommended level is three glasses a day. After taking it for two months on that level the dosage could come down to two glasses a day.
- Onions are found to be good for controlling high blood pressure. It is another one of the natural remedies for high blood pressure. Scientific studies have shown that the medicinal properties are due to a compound called quercetin. This compound is there in varying quantities in different varieties of onions. Taking onion in the daily diet could lower the high blood pressure considerably.
- Beetroot juice is found to be another one of the natural remedies for high blood pressure. A scientific study has shown that when you drink a glass of beetroot juice your blood pressure will come down in 3 to 4 hours. This property of Beetroot juice is said to be due to its dietary nitrates the researchers say.
