Natural Remedies For Eczema

Eczema is the inflammation of the skin where the skin gets a lot of itchy and red. Eczema is generally observed amongst infants and small kids. Therefore, it feels very sad to see these tender beings in trouble. It is but natural to feel sorry for them. Good, now when we mention the word ‘natural’, why not speak about some natural remedies for eczema.

Sometimes, the itching gets intense with red rashes. Though, in some cases, the reason for this is hereditary, still you can minimize the pain. Excessive and emotional stress too can cause eczema. However, here are some factors that can help you fight eczema.

Camphor & Sandalwood – The first and of the foremost importance is the use of camphor and sandalwood collectively. Take one reasonably sized camphor and one tablespoon of sandalwood paste. Sandalwood will make you feel cool to the affected itchy part.

Nutmeg – Make a paste of nutmeg by using a smooth stone slab with some water. After this, apply the paste to the affected part. Like sandalwood, this would also make you feel better and the irritation of the skin will subside.

Neem Leaves – Neem works the best against heat. The same way, it acts against the itchy skin too, equally effectively. Simply putting the leaves on the affected part will make you feel cool and unruffled. However, using it with turmeric will add to the effect. Make a paste of need leaves with the help of water. It might be difficult to make a paste. However, do not take the word ‘paste’ in the literal meaning. Some people also use milk for other same. But avoid this. Add the turmeric powder to the neem leaves and see the effect.

Carrot & Spinach – Take fresh carrots and spinach. Take the juice of carrots and spinach in equal quantity. This is one of the best remedies for eczema. It can be looked at, one of the best home remedies too.

Oatmeal – Many would suggest you to use oatmeal for the elimination of eczema and the related problems. Using oatmeal requires taking a bath itself, instead of only applying it to the affected part. What you can do it, take 2 cups of colloidal oatmeal and mix it in your bath water. Taking a bath in this way, according to the intensity of the itching and inflammation is necessary.

Vitamins – Go for food that will have vitamins like B6 and vitamin E in plenty. There are pastes and creams for such vitamins as well which you can easily get at a medical store near you. Applying them will do the same work for you as mentioned above.

Meditation & Exercise – The most natural way of fighting eczema is meditating and having exercise – on a daily basis. Eczema, as said above is mostly found in kids. Therefore, it may be difficult for parents to get them to do meditation. However, taking exercises is surely possible. Make it a habit for your children and it will not be too late when you will see yourself successful.
