Bronchitis is an infection in your major bronchial airways which lead to the lungs. Acute bronchitis can be caused by a bacteria or fungus, but most likely it is from a virus. It usually comes after having a cold, or even the flu because your resistance is down and your lungs are probably irritated from the cold or the flu. It is a lung irritation, and those that are exposed to cigarette smoke or other toxic fumes have a much greater chance of developing bronchitis.

  • Making lemon tea with honey can probably be the best bronchitis cure. It helps the irritated and inflamed bronchioles.
  • Licorice, this herb remedy soothes mucous membranes, and will stimulate cells in your body to produce its own anti-viral fighting compounds.   • Aromatherapy can provide some healing. When using cool eucalyptus oil, on a hot wet face cloth, and used by the person carefully y filling the nasal passages with the scent of eucalyptus. It will help heal inflamed lungs.
